Daily Schedule
Preschool, Pre-Kindergarten, & Transitional Kindergarten
Our littlest learners follow a structured yet nurturing daily rhythm designed to balance routine,
exploration, and foundational learning. The day begins with arrival and open play, allowing children
to transition comfortably into the classroom environment. After bathroom time and handwashing,
students gather for Opening Circle, which includes prayer, the Flag Salute, story time, songs, and
interactive games. The morning continues with Carden Learning Centers, where students engage in
guided early literacy and foundational math readiness activities, followed by snack and additional
story time. Outdoor play provides opportunities for movement and social development. Late morning
includes Exploratory Learning Centers such as Art, Science, French, and Music, encouraging
creativity and discovery. The day concludes with bathroom time, handwashing, and a Closing Circle
with story time, reinforcing routines, listening skills, and a sense of completion before dismissal.
Kindergarten-5th Grade
The day begins with approximately fifteen minutes devoted to the Pledge of Allegiance, a patriotic
song, our school prayer, current events, and weather. Students then start their morning academic
block with reading, spelling, language arts and one other specialist class (math, science, art,
technology, French, music, or physical education). All classes have a mid-morning break/recess at
10am, where students can enjoy snack and play/social time. Post-recess instruction includes two
academic blocks, followed by lunch, and two additional academic blocks.
