Communication & Partnership
At Carden Conejo School, we believe that strong communication between home and school is essential to
each child’s growth and success. Education is most effective when families and teachers work together in a
spirit of trust, collaboration, and mutual respect.
Families can expect to receive a weekly school newsletter with important updates, upcoming events,
reminders, and highlights from campus life. Classroom teachers also provide regular communication
regarding curriculum, classroom activities, and important grade-level information so that parents remain
informed and engaged in their child’s learning.
Teachers will reach out to schedule a conference whenever they feel it would be beneficial to discuss a
student’s academic progress, social development, or overall well-being. These conversations are viewed as
supportive partnerships focused on helping each child thrive.
Parents are also encouraged to request a conference at any time if they have questions, concerns, or would
simply like to connect more deeply about their child’s experience. Conferences may be scheduled through
the teacher directly or through the front office.
To ensure thoughtful and focused communication, we ask that parents allow teachers adequate time to
respond to emails or messages during the school week. Faculty members prioritize instruction during the
school day and will respond as promptly as possible. We are grateful for the partnership we share with our
families and believe that open, respectful communication strengthens our community and supports every
student’s success.
