Student Code of Ethics
A Living Standard
This Code of Ethics is not merely a list of rules; it is a living standard that shapes character development.
Students are supported by faculty and families as they grow, reflect, learn from mistakes, and strive to
become principled, confident, and compassionate individuals. Each year, students will agree to:
Be Respectful
Treat classmates, teachers, staff, and visitors with kindness and courtesy
Listen when others are speaking
Respect differences and include others
Take care of school property and shared spaces
Speak and act respectfully — in person and online
Be Kind and Caring
Use kind words and actions
Help others when they need support
Stand up for others and include those who feel left out
Treat others the way I want to be treated
Be Honest
Tell the truth and make good choices, even when no one is watching
Do my own work
Admit mistakes and learn from them
Be Responsible
Follow school rules and classroom expectations
Take responsibility for my choices and fix my mistakes when I make them
Come prepared and try my best
Use Good Manners
