Academic Expectations, Standards, & Integrity
Standardized & Diagnostic Testing
The School may administer standardized or diagnostic assessments to monitor academic growth. Results
are used to inform instruction and identify areas for support. Testing outcomes may factor into academic
planning decisions.
Support & Accommodations
Carden Conejo School strives to support enrolled students; however, as a private institution, the School is not
obligated to provide all accommodations requested. Families must disclose any diagnosed learning
differences, educational evaluations, or external services prior to enrollment or immediately upon
identification. Failure to disclose relevant academic or behavioral diagnoses may impact the School’s ability
to meet a student’s needs and may affect continued enrollment. The School reserves the right to determine
whether it can reasonably support a student’s academic needs within its program structure.
Teacher & Class Placements
Student placement decisions are made by the Administration in collaboration with faculty. These decisions
are based on academic balance, social dynamics, developmental considerations, and overall classroom
composition. Requests for specific teachers are appreciated, but cannot be guaranteed. Placement decisions
are final and are made in the best interest of the overall student body.
