Financial Policies & Tuition Obligations
Enrollment at Carden Conejo School constitutes a binding financial commitment for the full academic year.
Upon execution of the Enrollment Contract, parents assume responsibility for payment of all tuition and fees
as outlined in the signed agreement. Tuition is not contingent upon student attendance, academic
satisfaction, disciplinary status, withdrawal, suspension, dismissal, relocation, or personal circumstances.
The School relies upon tuition revenue to meet its financial obligations, including faculty contracts, facilities,
programming, and operational expenses. For this reason, tuition is due and payable according to the
payment schedule selected at the time of enrollment.
Failure to meet financial obligations may result in administrative action, including but not limited to:
Assessment of late fees
Suspension of student participation in extracurricular activities, athletics, field trips, and special events
Withholding of report cards, transcripts, recommendation letters, and official records
Denial of re-enrollment
Temporary or permanent removal from campus
Referral to a third-party collection agency
Legal enforcement of contractual obligations
Accounts that become delinquent may be subject to additional administrative review. The School reserves
the right to require payment in full, modify payment terms, or suspend enrollment privileges if financial
obligations are not met.
All additional charges—including but not limited to after-school programs, extended day, athletics,
uniforms, technology fees, field trips, special events, and incidental charges—are due upon billing and are
considered part of the family’s financial responsibility. Returned checks, declined automatic withdrawals, or
failed payments may incur additional service charges. Repeated payment failures may require families to
transition to automatic debit or certified payment methods. In the event of withdrawal after the contractual
cancellation window, parents remain responsible for the full annual tuition amount as outlined in the
Enrollment Contract. No prorated refunds will be issued unless explicitly stated in the Tuition Refund Plan (if
applicable and elected). The School reserves sole discretion in matters relating to financial enforcement and
re-enrollment decisions based on account standing.
