Foreign Language: French or Spanish
In Middle School, Carden students are empowered to take ownership of their learning by selecting
the world language they wish to pursue. Students may choose to continue their instruction in
French or begin with an Introduction to Spanish. Through speaking, reading, writing, listening, and
cultural exploration, students strengthen cognitive development, sharpen memory and reasoning
skills, and deepen their appreciation for global perspectives.
