Beginning Orchestra
Beginning Orchestra introduces students to the fundamentals of instrumental music in a supportive
and engaging ensemble setting. Students learn proper playing technique, music reading, rhythm,
tone production, and basic music theory while developing listening skills, coordination, and
confidence. Through individual practice and group rehearsal, students experience the joy of making
music together while building discipline, perseverance, and teamwork. The course provides a strong
musical foundation that prepares students for continued study and performance in the orchestra
program and fosters a lifelong appreciation for music.
