Assemblies & Class Plays
Public speaking is a true hallmark of a Carden education. From their earliest years, students
are given opportunities to stand tall, speak clearly, and share their ideas with others. Weekly
assemblies, poetry recitations, and class presentations gradually build poise and comfort in
front of an audience. By the time students perform in our annual class plays, they have already
developed the self-assurance and presence that alumni often credit as one of the most
valuable skills they take with them.
Through these practices, students not only develop strong communication skills but also learn
to lead with integrity and empathy. Whether helping a younger student, participating in
service opportunities, or collaborating in group projects, children are encouraged to take
responsibility, show initiative, and contribute positively to their community.
